Welcome to AIM Grant Specialists, where we connect nonprofits with the funding they need to change the world. I’m Amy Udell, and my journey in the nonprofit sector spans over 25 years—driven by a deep-seated belief that we can, together, make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Amy Cobb – Founder AIM Grant Specialists
My Story
“My passion for working with nonprofits began in childhood, instilled in me at a young age with a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to helping those in need. That early calling has guided my career, leading me to specialize in nonprofit fundraising through grant writing, major gifts, capital campaigns, and large-scale events.
What sets my approach apart is my unique perspective on philanthropy. Having worked on both sides of the funding process—as a fundraiser securing critical resources and as a grant-maker awarding funding—I bring an informed insight to nonprofit fundraising development. I understand what funders look for, how to position organizations for success, and how to build lasting relationships that lead to long-term sustainability.
Over the years, I’ve helped more than 30 nonprofit organizations raise millions of dollars, driving impact for causes I deeply care about—animal welfare, children’s services, and veterans’ charities.”

Why AIM?
AIM represents our core philosophy: we help organizations Achieve Impact through Mission-driven funding. But it’s more than an acronym—it’s about precision, purpose, and direction. Just as an archer carefully aims to hit the target, we take deliberate, focused action to connect your mission with the right funders. The name also reflects my personal commitment: I aim to make a difference. I aim to empower nonprofits. I aim to build bridges between passion and resources.
AIM’s Mission
AIM secures critical funding for nonprofit organizations by providing significant connections between funders and charities through grant research, writing, and management, creating sustainable, reliable funding streams for nonprofits who are changing the world.
My Why
Ultimately, I want to save the world. I want to protect children, save animals, and turn people’s lives around. We are often told ‘you can’t save them all, so just do what you can do.’ I can’t do this alone, but WE can. We have enough people in this world who have formed charitable organizations to ultimately save the world together. It’s a tall order and seems impossible, but if I can use my skills, experience, drive, and expertise, I can connect charities who are doing the work with the people with the means to do so and run this marathon together.
